I can’t remember many exciting New Year’s Eves. They were mostly spent at home or at homes of friends. While family and friendship drama can be exciting and explosive, they’re not quite what one pictures on NYE 
The one that stands out most in my mind is the NYE with friends at Boston Harbour after they’ve come to pick me up from an afternoon shift here. Fireworks, laughs, sparkles, friends.
That’s all we really need in life.
My sincere and humble wish for you in 2009 is simply as corny as this … greatness, love and peace.
And someone to share it all with, of course.
